Joe Davis grew up in New Canaan CT. He originally attended The School of Visual Arts in Manhattan as a Cartooning major. He switched to a Fine Art Painting major under the direction of his teachers. He studied under Stephen Westfall, Dennis Kardon. They had different styles and approaches. In his senior he studied under Marilyn Minter and found his path. He graduated with a BFA in Fine Arts from The School of Visual Arts in 2000. He has gone on to learn the art of Custom Picture Framing since then. He has been a Financial Advisor with Ameriprise Financial and Merrill Lynch. He currently plays drums in a Fairfield county hard rock band, Last Majority. Joe has influences that range from hard rock music, pop culture, advertising, news media, professional wrestling, stand up comedy, dark humor, erotica, religion and more. No subject is taboo. Joe Davis lives in Wilton, CT with his Rhodesian Ridgeback, Buddy.
